Dr. Yasar Jarrar is a leading voice in development strategy, digital transformation, and leadership development in the MENA region. As Managing Partner of Gov Campus, a premier digital lifelong learning platform for government officials in emerging markets, he is dedicated to equipping public leaders with the skills and insights needed to navigate the future of governance. Gov Campus operates under the International Advisory Group (IAG), where Dr. Jarrar has played a central role in advising governments on economic strategy, public sector modernization, and leadership development. He is also the Founding Partner of The Posterity Institute, a mission-driven organization focused on sustainability and intergenerational well-being across the Middle East and Africa.
Dr. Jarrar previously was Partner & Head of Public Sector Consulting at Bain & Company in the Middle East, advising top policymakers and government leaders. Prior to that, he led the Strategy Consulting Group for the Middle East at PwC, where he advised governments on national transformation and economic policy. He also served as Director of Strategic Planning at the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai (UAE) and was the founding Executive Dean of the Dubai School of Government.
Academically, Dr. Jarrar was a Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (2005-2008), where he worked on public policy innovation and performance management. He is currently a Professor of Practice at Hult International Business School and a Global Economy Fellow at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth.
